"Hold the line please, I have a call for this number."

A foreign sounding male voice said, "Hello."

I said, "Who are you?"

The voice said, "Can I speak to so and so please?"

I said, "Who are you?"

He hung up on me. If they aren't a scam, why would they refuse to identify themselves?

So I waited. There was another brief recorded message that I've forgotten.

Then, a foreign sounding male voice: "Hello."

I said, "Who the hell are you?"

He hung up on me.

So I still don't know what kind of scam they are trying pull. I wouldn't mind not knowing, if they would stop calling.

All the lies in this message clearly indicates that this is a scam.

This recording was followed by a foreign sounding voice saying hello to the answering machine. What is the point of this shit?

I'm sure that most of these statements are lies and that this is a scam. In fact, it sounds a lot like what's described here.

Recently, there have been a number of calls that start with the recording: "Hold the line please. I have a call for this number." Followed by a live foreign sounding voice. I don't know what kind of scam they're trying to pull, as I have only gotten this call on my answering machine.

I wonder why they keep cutting out and adding back in the "to as little as six point nine percent."

This recording has called three times before, so the "final notice" bullshit is a lie. The postcard bullshit is a lie. That my vehicle will be removed from their "system" is a lie. I bet all the other things in that recording are lies too.

The voice sounded like the woman's voice used in lots of previous scam recordings.

I couldn't make out what she actually said where I transcribed "front tail bore people".
