That's the 20th fraudulently "final" notice that's called my phone numbers.

I can't tell what she actually said where I transcribed it as "afosy".

This is the second time this recording has called, so it's definitely a lie. "The next three business days" is also definitely a lie. If that were true, she would have said, "this offer is only valid until June 30th, 2006." And she would have said, "this offer is only valid until April 22nd, 2006" the last time.

There were also calls from "William Harrison" from "the financial department" on Sept 2, 6, 20, 21, 22, 29, Oct 12, 13, 25, 28, Nov 1, 10, and 14.

Jun 20: Expedia Home Loans

He said his name, but I don't remember it. I annoyed him enough to get him to go on a relatively long rant during which he said he'd been talking to me for 8 minutes. Later in the rant he said he'd been talking to me for over 10 minutes. I was amused enough to say "and you're still talking". In the end, he said something to the effect that he'd put my name in some list or something so that someone else from his outfit may or may not call me about whatever he was calling about. I think he slammed the phone down when he hung up too.

I didn't make this point to him, but it's not like he's the first telemarketer with my name, address and phone number to call. If I were inclined to do business with a telemarketer, I would done it a long time ago. Maybe I'll remember to make that point the next time I talk to a telemarketer.

The sentences in this recordings ran together slightly, the way the breathless monster truck rally television commercial announcers run sentences together using multiple voices. So this recording sounded like a bunch of recordings stitched together. Another related thing is that these recordings seem to swap the press two with press three or other things for being added to the do not call list. That's pretty sleazy.
