Jan 3: Recording of scam from "Heather" at "account services"

"Hello. This is Heather at account services. And we're calling in reference to your current credit card account. There's no problems currently with your account. It is urgent however that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rate. To as little as six point nine percent. Your eligibility expires shortly. So please consider this your final notice. Please press one now on your phone to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rate. Or press two to discontinue further notices. Thank you and have a great day."

This six point nine percent is back in there.

This is almost an everyday occurance at my house, at least 2-3 times a day, they will leave a message on my voice mail.. one night around 9pm they called and I waited for a 'live person' so that I could be removed from their list, the person was nasty and hung up on me... I'm fed up, but it's always from an unavailable number, so I can't even trace it.

I had to laugh when I googled this and found out that Heather is calling everyone. She called me twice today. As we are a business, we have to answer the phone even for unavailable. Guess I am going to stop answering unavailable calls. Honestly the phone company is no better . Called us 2 times past week wanting us to switch to their DSL-which we have had for years. At least Heather speaks English.

Heather calls me 1-4 times a month. We're good pals. It used to be from international numbers, but now it's Private. And by "we're good pals" I mean "I hate her."

We're a business also, and have to answer. We have 3 lines-Heather calls on all of them. You would think something could be done about this. Waiting to push the button to stop the calls does nothing.

Want to know who Heather is, so to speak?

Hey everyone, Heather is a changed spot on an old leopard. I have been getting calls from her for several months. They did not bother changing many spots however. The spiel is otherwise unchanged as are their tactics. They are now better schooled on preventing disclosure of identifying information.

I will all but guarantee that it is MCS:

Mutual Consolidated Savings
Earnest S. Brazil Suite 33
Tacoma, WA 98405-4025
Telephone: 1-877-891-1348
Customer Service hours
9AM - 4 PM PST Monday to Thursday.
9AM - 11AM PST Fridays.
We are closed Saturday and Sunday.
International Office:
MUTUAL CONSOLIDATED SAVINGS LTD
43 BEECH PARK WAY
WATFORD , WD17 3TY , UK
Phone: 1-877-891-1348

The calls obstensibly originate from Florida, Georgia and
elsewhere.

I have been working on them for over a year. I finally
tracked them down and reported them in detail to the FTC
(DNC List) and the calls stopped for a while only to be
resumed with Heather.

Google them and you will find more than you wanted to know.

These people are VERY rude. Rarely do even debt-collectors behave as rude as this lot. I have too much spare time so researched them for hours. Can't find home addresses for the manager Miranda Cavender, the supervisor Jessica Buzzard or the president Paul Thompson. BUT a CURRENT EMPLOYEE Odis Bailey (the one who slams the phone down) was STUPID enough to put his own cell-phone number on Craigslist (he's looking for another job) so why not call him in the middle of the night on 253-314-6214. See this website for personal information on this telemarketer/con artist. And like them, make sure you hide your number, e.g. dial *67 if you're with AT&T.

P.S. Their website, mcsprograms.com lists an International Office in Watford, England which is the head office for some very dubious business (I told you I had lots of spare time). 43 Beech Way is head office of: Graboid UK Ltd (a place that supposedly streams TV shows (and probably viruses that wreck computers), ITCCYL Ltd (ideas that can change your life.com an e-book sales site - how tacky) and most immoral of all, its the address of a Leukemia Medical Research company - yeah right.

Give Odis a call.
