Another stupid machine
Yet again, answering the phone, there's nobody there but clicks. Then it hung up on me.
and they're nothing but scams
Yet again, answering the phone, there's nobody there but clicks. Then it hung up on me.
I picked up the phone, and there was nobody there for about thirty seconds. Then there were some clicks. Then, after about ten more seconds, there were some more clicks, and the telemarketing machine hung up on me.
That recording keeps calling me. It's so annoying. It sounds like they spliced in names of different cities and different numbers of days into the recording now.
When I answered the phone, there was ambient noise of a large room full of telemarketers. I think they may have been talking in Chinese. After a while, it hung up on me without connecting me to anything.
She tried to push various home improvement products. After I said I wasn't interested in each one, but without hanging up, she tried to push another one. Finally, she ran out of products, and said goodbye and hung up.
When I answered the phone, the connection connected, and the telemarketer said hello. After two seconds, I said hello at the same time she said hello again. The connection seemed to disconnect. I said hello. The connection seemed to reconnect. After she said hello a bunch of times and I said hello a bunch of times, she said she was Jennifer from Metro Financial. The connection kept seeming to disconnect and reconnect. Perhaps because I was slow to respond to what she said. She asked if I was paying more than 4% on my mortgage. The connection continued to apparently disconnect and reconnect. She said hello. I said hello. She hung up. She sounded Indian.
After I answered the phone, there were about 4 clicks from the autodialer. Then it hung up.
I got another call from the recording of Kelly from National Vacations. When it said to press 9 to talk to a representative, I pressed 9 and put the phone down. When I'm done with this post, I'll go back and hang up the phone.
A few seconds after I said hello, the telemarketer came on line and started speaking Chinese. I waited until she hung up.
Telemarketers from this company keep calling me to do these stupid "surveys" where they always ask if my water tastes funny. They always ask the same questions. This time, I just answered the questions. Last time, I asked them why they keep asking the same questions. I don't remember what they said. Next time, I'll ask them why they keep calling me and asking the same things again.
He asked if I was in the process of refinancing, if I wanted cash out, and some other related crap. I said no. He said bye and hung up.
Another call came in from a recording. It was for some financial or mortgage company that I do not recall. I put the phone down and went back to dinner. After it started making the phone off hook noise, I hung it up.
He sounded Indian. He said Macrofinancial had a free quotation offer for the homeowner. He asked about my mortgage. He asked about what my credit card debt was. He suggested $10000. He suggested $12000. He asked for a ballpark figure. I said zero. He asked if I had a car loan. I said I didn't. When he asked what my credit rating was, I said I didn't know, and he said good bye and hung up. Apparently, there's no free quotation offer for me. I feel so horribly and devastatingly rejected.
