I'm so glad I found your blog - these people called me this evening. I pressed 0 to be connected, and told the woman that we were registered with the ntl do not call directory. She said she didn't care. When I said it could be a $1K fine, she told me to go screw myself - direct quote! - and that she had my number so I'd be getting LOTS more calls. I hit *69, but it gave me a local, nonworking # ... your verbatim post will help w/ the complaint I file w/ my state atty general.
