Hi. I'm an attorney, and I've successfully sued telemarketers for thousands of dollars for calls such as these. I'm wondering if you could give me further information about the "Heather" call, because I've gotten these as well, but I'm not sure what company they're with. (I just get them as voice mails.)

If you want to stop the calls, your first step should be to get on the national do-not-call registry, which is pretty simple. At that point, ALL telemarketing calls (aside from charities/political calls) will be violations meriting damages.

However, even if you're NOT on the do-not-call list, all fradulent calls, and most recorded calls, are inherently violations of federal and state law, also meriting damages.

Again, let me know if you would like any help getting some cash for a new plasma/LCD largescreen, or whatever else you might need. And please share any info you have on the Heather company. Thanks.

Here's the thing: I don't know about anyone else, but I'm on the National DNC registry and my State's Do Not Call Program. And still ... these people keep calling, and calling, and calling.

Supposedly, the company name is "Card Services", and I can sometimes *69 for the source number (but sometimes, not). I've filed reports for each call ... and they keep coming in.

I'm at the point of filing a police report over this, so I can get the phone company to trace the bloody calls. >8\
