Feb 28: Recording of "Frank" with the "intercounty records department"

"This is Frank calling with the intercounty records department. Uh, after reviewing properties in your area from what I can see here, uh looks like your property would qualify for the intercounty three point two five percent thirty year loan program. Uh, so it is imperative that I speak with you though regarding your preapproval. Call me back when you get this at 1-800-210-4789. Once again, call me back at 1-800-210-4789. I'll talk to you soon."

What the fuck is the "intercounty records department"?

What the fuck is with all the mortgage crap coming up again in the last month? Didn't the fucking subprime collapse teach them a lesson?

I am consistantly getting calls from inter-county records. The numbers are 213-710-8151 and 702-520-1396. they will not let me speak to a supervisor and will not take me off their call list. the only thing they will do is hang up on me. I get one call a day. this is harassment and I want to sue...

These people are annoying and the FTC no call does nothing!
Take matters in you own hands.
If calling them back does not cost you anything, some people have free long distance, some have free nights, Keep calling them back!
Do not threaten them but ask them to be removed from the list of calls.
After they hang up on you call back. Keep doing it! Ask your friends to do it too.
This will tie up there lines and personel.
You are just trying to be removed from there list. It can overload there computers., phone lines and personel. In other words strangle them and cost them money.
Spread the word!

Keep getting calls from intercounty records about "reducing my debt" every time I try to connect to a person, by pressing 1, so that I can be removed from their call list they hang up on me. Here is their current toll free # 1-800-709-8793
Everytime I call they either can't hear me, or act like they can't hear me, and hang up, so I keep calling back. Have fun!

OK so I Kept calling (like 50 times in a row!) the 1-800-709-8793 # and saying YES I want to reduce my debt, Finally got a person named Alexis Moore on the line who could hear me. I made up some BS, finally got transferred to a person named Lorraine who was supposed to be a debt consultant. She asked how I was today and I said "I would be much better if you would take my number off your call list!" She said she would remove it from their list, confirmed # and hung up on me before I could ask who they were or where they were located. We shall see if this takes care of the phone calls over the last 6 months starting at 8 am and lasting until 10 pm! Good Luck all!

Sept. 2009
I live in Miami, FL and get the same message from Mike Carol at 1-800-506-3006. They want to save us from foreclosure which is impossible except in case that they buy the property and pay the loan.
After reading the complaints on line I wonder if I should just ignore their calls.

I too received a call from Mike Carol (or maybe Harold). Caller ID shows (402) 982-0584, but he says to call him at 800-506-3006 regarding new legislation that passed in my county for homeowners. We've had no such legislation and I'm not near bankrupt. The number he called was barely 12 hours old and has not been published or given to anyone.
