Just got this call for the second time. Last was about a month ago. My parents get it all the time. What can be done?

Register on the National Do Not Call List.

When they call, tell them to remove you from their list.

If they call again, tell them you are on the Do not call list and that since they called again you are registering a complaint.

I just got this call today. I did the survey and when they asked for my name so that they could put it on my boarding passes, I said that I didn't want a boarding pass but I wanted to know who they were and why they were calling me. The guy said, thank you for your call and hung up on me. I'm more curious than anything, although the thought of reverse charges being added to my phone bill or something is going through my head at the moment. I don't know if that is possible

Same phone call today for two free boarding passes for an all-inclusive cruise to Nassau, Bahamas.

I did the survey but at the end it asked for my credit card number & the names I wanted on my free passes. I hung up.

Scam?

The caller ID showed the number as#207-493-2612

Just got the call myself. The number for me was 202-480-5620. I didn't bother with the survey. Just google searched to find out more info. Guess Its been going on for a while now.

If after the survey they ask for credit card info as the previous poster stated then I'm sure its a scam.

I received this call just a few minutes ago, and without thinking, I gave them all the information they asked for. Can they use my information and use it against me? Could this be a start to identity theft? Looking for answers. Thanks.

I'm getting this call on my mobile from a different number every time about once every two weeks. How can I stop them? I'm in Canada

is there any way to get this stopped? It's just a recording with no way to tell them not to call you or put you on the do not call list

Just got this one, too. Called the number you listed, informed the agent of the Telecommunications Act of 1994 and that they were in violation, asked for a supervisor and have supposedly been added to a do not call list.

If I get it again, I'm calling the FCC. Don't fuck with a lawyer.

I just got the same call. I asked the guy for his company's contact info and he said he didn't know it. I asked to speak with his supervisor, he replied " oh yes sir, let me get them for you" and then promptly hung up the phone. I'm really curious as to what their purpose for this scam is!!

This is about the 7th time I have received this call. This one from (360)460-5570.
Conveniently, the "cruise ship" sound effect makes it nearly impossible to hear "Press 3 to be removed."
Doesn't really matter. Press 3, and it hangs up on you...then they call again in a few weeks.

206-445-6144 Keeps calling my home. Apparently people get 2 free Cruise tickets for answering a couple questions now a days. I wish they would stop calling and trying to scam me.

I've been looking into this since I get this call every couple of weeks at my office. The earliest instance of this call I've found, was an LA Times article from 2010 outing it as a scam. Every time I've tried to be removed they just hang up on me. This time I spoke to a lady who gave me the line about being a call center and handling many numbers. I tried a few different angles, but she didn't answer any of my questions. She said she was transferring me to a DNC list. After everything, she basically just hung up on me again. I'm trying to find more info on them, but it seems sort of futile...
