Mar 9: Recording of "This is a public service message from the medical benefits association"

This recording has called Feb 7, 15, 22 and Mar 9.

"This is a public service message from the medical benefits association. We have found a health care program for a low as three dollars a day. Press one now to hear about this complete medical benefits savings program, which includes hospitalization benefits, doctor benefits, and hearing benefits. Plus applicants who enroll today receive free dental benefits, and free vision benefits, and no additional charge. To speak to a health care specialist, press one now. And your family can get this complete medical benefits savings program. So go ahead, press one. Or if you'd like to be removed from our database, press two."

There were minor changes in wording from the previous calls. I wonder why. Maybe so that they can call those who have been "removed" from their database in response to the previous recording, claiming that it's a different message.

It is Apr 20, 2009 and I have had these people calling me several times recently. Pressing 2 to be removed from the list does not help and being on the do-not-call list didn't help, either. If you ask to be removed from the list, they just hang up on you.

I went to the dentist yesterday and i filled out a form, at the bottom of which i was asked to select yes or no, depending on if i wanted to grant them permission to leave me messages on my phone. I went ahead and asked the lady behind the counter if those messages would be from the dentist's office regarding my appointments or anything related to my treatment, and she said yes. I also mentioned I didn't want messages from telemarketers. She said it was only for confirming appointments and such. I was trying to make sure that I wasn't signing up for anything stupid! Well, guess what? I started receiving phone calls from telemarketers today regarding insurance which covers "DENTAL"... hmmmm, what a coincidence! I wish the lady behind the counter would've told me the truth, but she outright lied to me! Thank you Horizon Dental Group in Chino Valley, AZ. You did a great job a getting my inbox full of spam!
