Oct 17: Recording of April with satellite TV fraud

This recording has called at work Oct 5, 10 and Oct 17. An identical recording of Jennifer called at work Sep 21 and Sep 29.

"Hello. This is April with your local satellite TV provider. Today we are giving away a free digital satellite TV system to all local residents here in our city. Press one now to receive your free satellite TV. Press three to be removed."

Sounds like fraud to me.

I pressed one.

There was music for many minutes. Pachelbel's Canon.

A woman came on the line and said something.

I asked here what the local city was supposed to be.

She said something like, "I'm sorry?"

I asked what the "local satellite TV provider" was supposed to be.

She hung up on me. What a fraud.
