Jul 11: Recording of card services

This recording has called May 18 and at work on Jul 11.

"This message is from card services. If you received our letter concerning your account, please disregard this message and press three so you will not be contacted again concerning this matter. Otherwise, press one now to be connected to a representative to discuss your annual account review and to see if you qualify for a reduction in your interest rate. You could qualify for as little as 6.9% on all of your accounts. You just need at least $2500 in total credit card debt and have one account in good standing. Again press one now to be connected. Thank you."

Since it called me at work, I was pissed off enough to press one.

After a few dozen rings, I got connected to a woman. I asked her what my account status was. She said she didn't have it, so I asked her why they called me. She said because I was eligible for something, so I asked her for my account status again. She said she didn't have it, so I told her to go get it. It sounded like she slammed the phone down.
